Christmas Escalator

One thing I love about street photography is being able to capture images like this – an escalator rider against an unexpected holiday backdrop. I always have my eye out for interesting images – colors, moments, contrasts. Walking through an indoor mall near our home, the glass wall behind the escalators is constantly changing colors, which is especially nice over the holiday season. A lone escalator rider in silhouette provides the perfect contrast to the holiday colors. This image is available as to purchase either as a print or as a holiday card here.
